Let Go.

A man was walking along the edge of a cliff when suddenly he slipped and fell. Halfway down he managed to grab ahold of a branch growing out of the rock face. As he hung there, clinging for dear life, he began to call for help. Soon he heard a voice from atop the cliff, “Don’t worry. I’m here. I’ll help you.”

“Who are you?” the man asked.

“I’m God.”

The man was greatly relieved. Who best to help in a situation like this than God? “Okay God,” he said. “Just wink your eye or wiggle your nose, or whatever it is you do, and please transport me to the top of the cliff.”

God responded, “Listen to me. Just let go!”

“What?”

“Just let go,” God repeated.

“God, just transport me to the top of the cliff!” the man replied.

“Let go!” said God.

The man paused, then said, “Umm…God…is there anyone else up there who can help me?”
